The Libro Prosperity Fund is a program designed by the Libro Credit Union to support community programs. CSS Student Council successfully applied for a grant to fund one of the three areas of focus for Libro, student leadership, focusing on the transition of grade 9 students into CSS. The $6000 grant will be used for training of student leaders through a camp planning retreat experience and the funding for the actual event September 2019. In addition, by developing the capacity of student leaders in high school, we hope that these young leaders will go on to have an impact in the local community and develop the next generation of young leaders.
