On Thursday December 6th, CSS had the privilege of hearing motivational speaker Ian Tyson’s message, “hooray for everything.” His message to CSS students was to take in all of high school and live the best life you can!
Sonya Giordano is a grade 12 student who is doing a co-op placement at the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital in Dunnville. She has an interest in the health care field and she likes the hands on experience this occupation gives her. Her goal is to become a paramedic #CoopRocks

On Tuesday November 13th, the students of CSS attended a dramatic presentation called Generations that described the story of a brother and sister as they recover from the trauma of residential schools.
Today, CSS had an assembly that was organized by two grade 10 history classes. This was to remember the soldiers who have fought in the wars for our country and our freedom. Poppies were displayed throughout the school and were worn to show our support! #RememberanceDay#poppies

On Friday November 2nd, Cayuga Secondary School celebrated the academic achievements of grade 9-11 students. All students who earned an 80% average or higher last year were honoured during this time. The students listed below achieved the highest marks in their respective grades.
