Registration

New Students

All secondary students who are new to Grand Erie or those who are moving between Grand Erie schools must register at their catchment school. 

If you are new to Canada and are interested in registering as a NEW student, please visit The Grand Welcome Centre page for further information how to register.

Pauline Johnson registration instructions:

  1. Identify your School
  2. Complete and sign Registration Documents
  3. Provide proof of student identity and proof of address
  4. Complete course selection
  5. Submit ALL documents and proof of identity
  6. When all the above requirements are met, a Guidance Counsellor will schedule an appointment with you

NOTE: All registration files received over July and August will be processed, in order, beginning the first day of school in September. Please ensure your registration documentation is complete as this may cause delays. All registrants will be notified when their applications are being processed.

Identify your School

Ensure/confirm Pauline Johnson is your catchment Secondary School by entering your address with Find Your School.

Enter your address information,  and the following, Municipality = Brantford, District = Grand Erie District School Board then click Submit.

The result will identify the correct school to register with. If your catchment school is Pauline Johnson, please continue below, otherwise, contact your catchment school.


Registration Documents

If Pauline Johnson is your catchment Secondary School please download and complete the following documents. If you are unable to print these documents, please stop by Student Services during regular office hours to pick up a Registration Package.

    Registration Submission


      Submit your documents in person to the Guidance Office during regular school hours or by email as follows:

      In ONE email submit the following documents to:

      Attach the following completed forms and documents.

      • Registration Documents
      • Proof of Identity
      • Proof of Address
      • Course Selection Sheet

      Proof of Identity and Address

      Government issued proof of identity such as:

      • Passport
      • Single Journey Travel Document
      • Birth Certificate
      • Baptismal Certificate

       


      Proof of address for the parent/guardian such as:

       

      • Current rental or lease agreement
      • Utility bill, phone bill
      • Property tax bill
      • Insurance documentation

      Driver's licenses will NOT be accepted.

      Download, print and complete the Course Selection Form.

      CLEARLY mark 8 choices (be mindful of the Grade column).

If you plan to send the form to us digitally, please open the registration form PDF directly in Adobe Reader in order to support digital signatures. PDF preview plug-ins for browsers often do not support digital signature signing, which is a requirement of Grand Erie.

      To complete your student's registration please attend the school to obtain the full registration package. The student's ID, proof of address, and prior transcript is required at registration.
