Kiwanis Field

Thank you for your interest in booking the Kiwanis Field.

Please read the following information carefully.

Important Information:

Pauline Johnson will make best efforts to accommodate requested dates. We request 3 best, preferred dates (if your first choice is not available).

The City opens Kiwanis Gates according to the stated Permit time. If you require prep/set up time, ensure this is reflected as your start time. For example, if your planned event begins at 8:30 a.m. but you need 30 minutes to set up, enter your request to start at 8:00 a.m.

The earliest Permit start time is 7:30 a.m.

If the Kiwanis gates are not open by your Permit time, contact: 519-759-4150. Messages received will be directed to the appropriate person.

Equipment MUST BE PREARRANGED by the "booking school" using the facility (specify equipment requests on the booking form below). Requests for equipment must be submitted at the time of booking the facility.

Please be sure to bring a prepared First Aid Kit

Kiwanis Track is not available for recreational use during the school season, however it is available during the summer, July 1 - Sept 1, Monday to Friday 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. During the regular school season please visit Bison Track for recreational use, Sept - end of June.

Every Thursday Morning from 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. the field is closed for maintenance by the City of Brantford.
Each year, AABHN Meets for Field Booking (Coordinating of all leagues and schedules and Fields needed). A list of field bookings are compiled and dates are sent to the City of Brantford for confirmation. This process can take up to a week as some dates have to be negotiated and altered.

Once dates are confirmed, AABHN Coordinator and League Convenors are made aware of the available fields, other rental groups and event coordinators as well as schools are notified if their requests have been fulfilled.

How to Book Kiwanis Field:

Review the Kiwanis Event Booking Calendar to see if your preferred date is available. Please note, dates/availability are not guaranteed.
Submit your request through the Kiwanis Booking Form.

If your Kiwanis Field Event is OUTSIDE of regular school season (Sept-June), M-F, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. please contact Brantford Parks and Recreation.

First Priority Scheduling:
Pauline Johnson Collegiate maintains first priority scheduling. First Priority is our school Physical Education Classes for 3 days a week during Spring and Fall. Often, during peak playing seaons, Kiwanis Field Special Events limits availability even to our classes.

Second Priority Scheduling:
Second Priority is reserved for the hosting special events such as soccer and rugby tournaments, track meets, fundraisers and charity events such Relay for Life which we host.

Third Priority Scheduling:
Third Priority scheduling is then available to AAHBN and CWOSSA sports and Championships. We have sports such as Rugby, Soccer, Track & Field, Ultimate, Lacrosse and football etc...

Fourth Priority Scheduling:
Fourth Priority is to our Elementary/Feeder schools for track and field, Terry Fox Walk etc...

Fifth Priority Scheduling:
Open booking is now available to several elementary students from private and catholic schools boards.

Parking

Please inform any participants or spectators to park in designated, marked parking spots only.

Do not park in the No Frill's parking lot, Brantford Little School, in front of PJ Tech Garage doors, adjacent apartment parking lot, please do not or block emergency route access or block any vehicles in.
