Home of the Wolves!
Woodman-Cainsville public elementary school in Brantford, Ontario serves students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8. It is part of the Grand Erie District School Board.
Home of the Break Buddies Program:

Break Buddies is a self-regulation program for students in kindergarten through grade 8, and is a unique initiative here at Woodman.
Primary aged students are paired up with students from an older grade and meet twice a week. During these times, buddies will spend 10-15 minutes reading a short story about feelings, learning and practising a breathing/calm down strategy, then choosing an activity to do together such as building with Lego, magna-tiles, or board game.
This is the third year of the Break Buddies program here at Woodman. We have observed so much growth and positive relationship building as a result of this mentorship program. Our Wolves are building leadership skills, succeeding, and finding connection because of this program.
