Program Description

Camp SAIL (Summer Adventures in Learning) returns for 2025. In-person summer camp focuses on building skills in literacy and numeracy to help bridge the gap between the end of the school year and the start of a new year. The fun, supportive environment will provide students with a jump-start on learning.

What is Camp SAIL?

  • Grand Erie offers a free summer camp from July 2 to 18. The camp's focus will be on closing the gaps in literacy and numeracy. Grand Erie teachers will provide fun and engaging activities to help students practice and enhance their skills and strategies.

Who is Camp SAIL for?

  • Students going into Grades 2 to 4 in September. Students must be invited by their child's home school.

How do I register my child for Camp SAIL?

  • Students need to be recommended by their home school to be able to apply for a spot. Home schools will register students.

When is Camp SAIL?

  • Camp SAIL runs from July 2 to July 18, 2025. Attendance is mandatory for all 2 ½ weeks. Camp will run Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., except the first week, which will run Wednesday to Friday due to Canada Day. There is no camp on Saturdays or Sundays.
