Grand Erie was well represented at the Bay Area Science and Engineering Fair recently, with a number of projects winning awards and advancing to further competition. BASEF is one of the oldest and largest science fairs in Canada, and helps students in science and engineering prepare for national and international competition.
Grand Erie's Multi-Year Plan includes Achievement as one of its key indicators, setting a culture of high expectations for students, and measuring and reflecting on outcomes. BASEF provided a wonderful showcase for innovative thinking and mastery of skills in the science, technology, and engineering fields within which many Grand Erie students are excelling.
Check out the winning projects over on Grand Erie's Facebook page.
Congratulations to those who took home awards, and everyone who made it to this round of competition!
