AGH Community Update - June 22, 2026

Monday, Jun 22, 2026

This year at Agnes Hodge has been filled with many positive experiences with students, staff, parents/caregivers, and the community. However, it is with mixed emotions that we say goodbye to approximately 300 students and 40 staff with the opening of the new school Blanche E. Williams. We're so glad that you were able to be a part of our Agnes G. Hodge community!

You can expect a 'Back to School' community update to be sent to families during the week of August 31st with further information about procedures for the first day of school and where to find your child(ren)’s classroom teacher. Please see below for updates and reminders. Thanks again and have a restful summer!

Message from our Transportation Department

As we prepare for the upcoming 2026–27 school year, we want to ensure that all students have access to safe and reliable transportation. Our team is already planning routes and schedules, and we encourage families to review their transportation needs ahead of the new school year. The Parent Portal will open on August 4, 2026, allowing you to view busing information, stop locations, and pick‑up/drop‑off times.

Existing students, who are eligible and already receiving services, do NOT need to reapply. Students who need to apply, include:

Where an address change has occurred (home or alternate),

Where a student is new to the system (often in kindergarten) or

When a student is entering grade 9 (panel change)

Transportation requests can be submitted at any time. Please complete the online request form using the following link:

We appreciate your partnership as we work to support students’ safe travel to and from school. If you have questions or need assistance, our transportation team is here to help; we can be reached by emailing: transportation@stsbhn.ca or by calling 519-751-7532.

We look forward to a smooth and successful start to the new school year.

Message from our School Council

Thank you Huskies for a great year! Hot dog day was a huge success, raising over $1,000 towards our school! A big shout out to Rusty's No Frills for their donation of $50 worth of hot dog buns! We have had a great year serving on School Council and we can't to see what the 2026/27 school year has in store (we already have some exciting plans)! Have a safe and fun summer and we will see you again in September!

Nutrition Program - Closed
