As we continue our school improvement focus on student learning and achievement in mathematics, the school board has developed family math newsletters for primary, junior, and intermediate students. These newsletters contain tips and activities for parents and caregivers to support their children at home. Please click on the link for April's Math Newsletters.

In May, our attendance focus highlights the importance of health and well-being in helping students show up ready to learn. When we support the physical, emotional, and mental health of our students, families, and staff, we strengthen the foundation for success. Stay connected and reach out when support is needed – because feeling well helps us attend well.
To help ensure a smooth and safe end-of-day dismissal, we ask that parents/caregivers call the school in advance to notify us of any early pick-ups. When possible, please plan early pick-ups before 2:30 p.m.
The end of the school day is a very busy time in the office. Our clerical staff must ensure that bus lists are accurate, including confirming which students have been picked up and will not be riding the bus. Unexpected early pick-ups after 2:30 p.m. make it challenging to communicate efficiently with classroom teachers, as they are actively preparing students for dismissal.
While the office will always endeavor to ensure parents/caregivers are able to access their children, please be aware that delays should be expected for pick-ups after 2:30 p.m.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in helping us keep dismissal safe and orderly for all students.
The next school council meeting will be held on Thursday, April 28th, 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm in our library/learning commons. Please see the information below if you are planning to join virtually.
