Grade 8 Graduation - June 22nd

We are pleased to announce the date of June 22^nd as this year's grade eight graduation date.  The ceremony will take place in the Walter Gretzky gymnasium.  Here are the timelines:

5:00 PM        Graduates start arriving and congregating in the library

5:30 PM        Ceremony

6:30 PM        End of ceremony and cleanup of the gym chairs

6:45 PM        Refreshments

7:00 PM        Commencement of the dance

8:00 PM        Pizza will arrive for graduates

9:30 PM        End of the dance

The ceremony will be approximately one hour in length.  Refreshments will follow the ceremony for all.  We would also encourage anyone capable and willing to help stack chairs in preparation for the dance.  The dance will commence between 7:00 and 7:30 PM, depending on the time it takes for refreshments to be served.

Families are welcome.  We do not have tickets for this event as our gymnasium is large enough to accommodate a very large crowd.  In the event of overflow, there will be standing room at the back of the gymnasium.

The dance will consist of a DJ and a photo booth for students to enjoy.  If you could kindly let us know how your child will be getting home, that would be greatly appreciated so that we can ensure their safety.
