From our Grade 7/8 Class: What do we want to tell you about Rainham 

Rainham Central School is more than just a place to learn—it’s a welcoming community where students thrive academically, socially, and personally. Our small school size means everyone knows each other, creating a friendly and supportive environment from kindergarten through grade eight. Dedicated teachers and EAs work tirelessly to ensure every child feels respected, encouraged, and ready to succeed. At Rainham, learning is paired with fun and engagement all year long.

Beyond the classroom, Rainham offers a wide variety of extracurricular opportunities, including sports teams such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, badminton, baseball, and track and field, as well as clubs like Eco Club and Chess Club. Leadership opportunities abound for intermediate students through Student Council and Tech Team, where they help organize spirit days, dances, and school-wide events. Our school calendar is packed with memorable experiences, from Christmas concerts and lip-sync contests to Winter Fest, Jump Rope for Heart, and Track and Field. Spirit Days—like Blue Jays Day or ’80s and ’90s dress-up—bring fun and school pride to every hallway. Students also enjoy hot lunches, pizza Tuesdays, and hot dog Thursdays, adding a tasty touch to school life. We encourage students to step out of their comfort zones, try new things, and discover hidden talents—whether through sports, clubs, or performances. Many students find that taking a chance leads to new passions and lifelong memories.
