Letter to Families Regarding Bell Times for 2026-27

Good afternoon, Mount Pleasant families,

For the 2026-27 school year, the bell times at Mount Pleasant will be adjusted to ensure our schools continue to run smoothly and provide the best possible experience for students and staff.

School will now start at 9:15 a.m. and dismissal will be at 3:35 p.m. Supervision for students will begin at 9:00 a.m.

The change in bell times, supported through a bus route review by Student Transportation Services Brant Haldimand Norfolk (STSBHN), will allow us to use our resources more effectively and continue to get all students to school safely and on time.

Before- and after-school programs will continue to operate as usual. Families registered in these programs will receive additional information directly from their program provider if needed.

We wanted to make you aware of this change in start time now so that you can make the appropriate adjustments to your family’s schedule for next school year.
