On October 16th, students from our school proudly represented Echo Place at the annual Cross Country meet. Each grade (boys and girls) ran its own race, giving everyone a chance to show their determination, teamwork, and school spirit. The event was filled with smiles, encouragement, and excitement as students challenged themselves on the trails and celebrated one another’s efforts.
We are especially proud of the six students who excelled and qualified to move on to CAGE, where they competed against top runners from other schools. A special congratulations goes to our Grade 4 student who won first place in his race — an incredible achievement!
It was a fantastic day of fitness, perseverance, and fun. Congratulations to all participants for their hard work and positive attitude!

CAGE Update:
After an impressive performance at the local Cross Country meet, five of our students went on to represent our school at CAGE. Although one qualifier was unable to attend, those who competed showed incredible perseverance and school spirit.
Each runner gave their best effort, demonstrating courage and determination — with a few even overcoming shyness and anxiety to take part in the big event. Their positive attitudes and teamwork made our school community proud.
A special congratulations goes to our Grade 4 runner, who followed up a first-place finish at the earlier meet with an amazing second-place result at CAGE! Congratulations to all of our athletes for their outstanding achievements and for being such amazing representatives of our school.
