Truth and Reconciliation Week in Grand Erie
“Remembering the Children” is the theme of this year’s Truth and Reconciliation week (September 26-30). To commemorate this important week, Grand Erie is offering several learning resources and events to support lessons in Indigenous knowledge, history and perspectives for all grade levels.
Edith Monture Elementary School Renaming Ceremony - September 28
On Wednesday, September 28, Grand Erie is recognizing and celebrating the official renaming of Edith Monture Elementary School, formerly Ryerson Heights.
National Day of Truth and Reconciliation/Orange Shirt Day - September 30
