Grand Erie’s Strategic Plan for 2021-26: We want to hear from you!

The Grand Erie District School Board is committed to achieving Success for Every Student through a focus on students and staff in a culture of high expectations. As you can imagine, this is a big job and requires a great deal of planning.

Grand Erie is now beginning the process to review and update our strategic plan to support student success. Over the last five years, the  2016 -20 multi-year plan has provided a focused direction for growth and improvement throughout our schools and all levels of our organization. As we come to the end of the current plan’s term, we are now turning our attention to renewing the Grand Erie strategic plan for 2021- 26.

As members of the Grand Erie school community, we would invite you to share your thoughts and participate in this important conversation about our schools. This is your opportunity to tell us what we’re doing well, where we need to improve, and help shape the face of education in Grand Erie for years to come.

Please note:

The way an exchange works is that other people will see your thoughts and ratings and you will see others' thoughts and ratings. But! Your identity (your name and email address) is kept confidential.

Exchange leaders are not able to see who has participated in an exchange and who has not and the information you provide to create your login will remain solely with us, and will never be given or sold to another party - ever.

Please note that this public consultation is for students, staff, parents/guardians and community members to share their feedback on our strategic plan for 2021-26 only. As a reminder that for personal or school-related matters, please ensure you follow our formal process to have those matters addressed directly as stated on our Bylaw BL7 regarding Public Concerns. This information can be found on www.granderie.ca. For this reason, all other comments that are personal or school-related matters will be removed to ensure the privacy of individuals.

Please submit your feedback by June 11.

We encourage you to engage with other participants by rating other “thoughts”. Participants can rate as many thoughts as they want - the more the better.

We greatly appreciate you taking some time to share your perspective. Your ideas will help us shape a plan FOR our community BY our community and make our schools better places to learn and grow.

Thank you.
