Grand Erie announces final opportunity for families seeking to switch learning models
Grand Erie is sharing some important information for our families who intend on switching to a different learning model. This is the final opportunity for families to make a switch between learning models for their child.
To prepare for students who are selecting a different learning model than the one they’re currently in, it’s necessary for parents to declare their intention.
- The deadline for elementary students to notify Grand Erie if you’re changing from online to in-class or vice versa is January 13, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.
- The deadline for secondary students to notify Grand Erie if you’re changing from online to in-class or vice versa is January 6, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.
To make a change, you must notify us by this date or your child will remain in their current learning model for the remainder of the school year.
Families of students in self-contained classes wishing to switch learning models should NOT complete this declaration but should contact their school principal directly.
If there is no communication from you, your child will remain in their current learning model.
For parents who have indicated a change, your child is scheduled to begin their new learning model on February 2, 2021, when Quadmester 3 begins.
