Introducing the Grand Erie Parent Portal
Stay connected and informed! The Grand Erie Parent Portal is a communications tool designed to enhance and increase parent/guardian involvement in the education of their children. The Parent Portal provides parents/guardians with secure online access to our Student Information System. All parents will be provided with access to the PowerSchool Parent Portal in the 2019/ 20 school year. Parents are invited to create their parent account from information sent home in a letter provided from the school office. This will ensure only parents with the proper custodial rights will have access to any student information.

Selecting a Learner
Once parents/guardians are in Brightspace select the student whose information you would like to access.
Each student's tile displays their name, a summary of overdue and upcoming work, and a recently released grade item count.
If parents/guardians are only assigned to a single student, logging in to Brightspace takes the parents/guardians directly to the Student Dashboard, which displays more detailed information. If a parent/guardians is associated with more than one student, multiple tiles display when logging in to the Brightspace for Parents account.

Each Saturday, an activity summary is emailed to parents/guardians that contains notifications and reminders. For example, an activity summary may contain reminders when assignments are due. Note: Parents receive one email per child.
