Kindergarten Parent Survey

Parents with children in Junior and Senior Kindergarten are invited to participate in a survey which will collect valuable contextual data about the early experiences of children and families.

Led by the Offord Centre for Child Studies at McMaster University, in partnership with Grand Erie District School Board, Brant-Haldimand-Norfolk Catholic District School Board, Norfolk County, and City of Brantford, the information will be used along with other community-level data to better understand what makes the most difference for children’s development. Noting environmental factors, relationships, and the services that impact children and families, the survey results will aid researchers in making recommendations that positively affect children, families, and communities.

The survey is open April 16 to May 31, 2018, and takes approximately 20 minutes. The survey is anonymous, and does not ask for the parent/guardian or child’s names. Parents completing it are entered into a draw for a $50 Walmart gift card. The survey is now closed.
