January is Kindergarten Registration Month, and in order to help spread the word, Grand Erie District School Board called in the experts. Who better, after all, to explain the many reasons to look forward to September than Grand Erie Kindergarten students themselves?
Three students happily lent their voices to the airwaves and expressed their enthusiasm for learning by recording radio spots letting the public know more about the Kindergarten registration process.

Lucy, a Kindergarten student at Caledonia Centennial PS visited the studios at 92.9 FM The Grand to record her ad |
Over in Caledonia, Lucy Robitaille, a Kindergarten student at Caledonia Centennial Public School, confidently got behind the microphone at 92.2 The Grand to relay the message about registration. She likes to balance outdoor activity with artistic endeavours in the classroom: “My favourite is working on art, especially drawing,” she said. “I also like playing outside and making snow angels.”
The Kindergarten program is designed to provide the very best learning, while also giving each student the chance to learn in the ways best suited to them.
Another great thing about Kindergarten? “It’s really fun, and you get your own locker,” Gingras added. “There are plenty of kids, but there are plenty of lockers!”
