Confederation provides a sterling example to students of what can be accomplished when people of diverse backgrounds work together to achieve a common goal.”

David Dean, Chair of the Board

    About the School

The new school opened for students on September 6, 2016. The project cost $5.8-millon in renovations to become the Board's newest French immersion school.

Grand Erie was among a number of districts across the province that received additional funding for new or renovated schools. The Minister of Education announced Ontario's investment in building and renovating schools to provide children with the best possible learning environments. Specifically for Grand Erie, the Minister of Education announced additional five classrooms and retrofit to Coronation Public School in Brantford to accommodate the students of Fairview Public School.
