On Tuesday, June 28 Grades 1 – 3 will celebrate the end of school with a Teddy Bear Picnic.
The picnic will happen during the morning period and will include rotating centres. Some of the events at the Teddy Bear Picnic include parachute games, sing a longs, and Teddy Bear Races.
The Public Health Nurse will also be part of the picnic and she will be sharing the importance of summer safety. Teddy Bears will learn about the importance of bike safety, properly crossing the street, staying hydrated, and using sunscreen during the hot summer months.
The Teddy Bears will also have a centre where they can have a healthy snack and a cool drink. Students are encouraged to make sure they bring hats and sunscreen.
