English Language Learners (ELL)
The Grand Erie District School Board is dedicated to providing culturally responsive services and programs for English language learners (ELLs) that will improve the school experience and success for all English language learning students.
Located at the Joseph Brant Learning Centre at 347 Erie Avenue, Brantford, Ont., the
Newcomer Reception and Assessment Centre is a place where all new
English Language Learners and First Nation, Métis, or Inuit students and
their families are welcomed into the Grand Erie District School Board
community.
To commence the registration process, families must make an appointment by phone or e-mail to an ESL/ELD teacher consultant at (519) 756-6301 ext. 274224, an Indigenous Education teacher consultant at 226-387-0357 or email: info@granderie.ca.
