Dear Brantford Collegiate Families,
I am writing to provide an update on the field at Brantford Collegiate Institute and Vocational School. Following our October communication, we made progress before the winter weather with the installation of the new sprinkler system and the full regrading of the area. To ensure the long-term health and safety of the new field, it was necessary to wait for the ground to thaw and conditions to stabilize before beginning the work.
Later this month, weather permitting, the final stage of the project will include final surface preparation and laying new sod.
During this work, the area will remain fenced off. We appreciate your patience throughout the process and will reach out to families as soon as the field is mature enough for play and the grand re-opening is ready.
We look forward to seeing students enjoy this revitalized space soon.
