Grand Erie's online learning declaration is now closed.
Families interested in online learning (instead of in-person learning) must have declared this choice by April 13, 2022 for the full 2022-23 school year.
What you need to know:
Grand Erie continues to strongly support in-person learning as the best option for students.
You must declare your choice for online learning by April 13, 2022 . Once this date is passed, it is expected your child will remain in that learning model for the full school year.
If your child is already learning in-person and you intend to continue that into the next school year, then no action is required
If your elementary child is enrolled in online learning now, and you wish to return to in-person learning in the fall of 2022, then no action is required.
Secondary students moving from online to in-person learning for September 2022 should connect with their home school to verify enrolment and select courses.
For students in self-contained classrooms currently learning online, you must complete a declaration. Follow the declaration link for NEW details on online learning expectations for these students.
Families who are unable to complete the declaration form online may contact their home school for assistance.
The choice for online learning has impacts on course availability, extra-curricular activities and more for both elementary and secondary students.
Complete one Online Learning Declaration Form for EACH CHILD in your family that will be registered in online learning. Once the declaration is complete, your child will be registered in online learning for the 2021-22 school in a designated virtual school. Your child will be expected to remain in the online model for the entire 2021-22 school year.
