Kindergarten Starter Package
Kindergarten families will receive a package sent home before the start of the new school year to inform them about their child’s bus route and pick up location.
Kindergarten students will receive a bus tag on the first day of school to attach to their clothing or backpack. There is no confidential information contained on the bus tag but the details will assist those who help your child on and off the bus. The school staff and bus driver will know this information.
In addition, there will be a sticker included in the package to place in a visible location on the child before they get onto the bus on their first day of school. This sticker will assist the bus driver and supervisors at transfer locations in making sure that Kindergarten students go to their correct destination school.
Bus Cancellations and Delays
In addition to being able to access your child's transportation details, parents can subscribe through the parent portal at stsbhn.ca and track any delays or cancellations of their child's bus route.
Sign up today to receive email notifications about bus cancellations. An email is sent out to the associated email account whenever a delay or cancellations has occurred.
For every year other than Kindergarten, transportation information is available online. Students and parents can login to the transportation portal at stsbhn.ca. Schedules are posted each year in mid-August.
