H1N1 Flu Facts

The Grand Erie District School Board's priority during a declared pandemic is the health and safety of students and staff. The intent is to keep schools open as long as it is safe to do so. Provided is a copy of letter from the Brant and Haldimand-Norfolk health units outlining the recent H1N1 flu outbreak and precautions that can help decrease the spread of influenza. In addition, the Board's Pandemic Preparedness Plan is provided as information along with details on proper hand washing techniques and some colouring activities for younger students that can help further their understanding about the importance of proper hand washing.
