About

Nestled in the “prettiest town in Canada”, Paris District High School (PDHS) serves a growing community of students that provides both education and guidance to deliver the skills and traits necessary for success.

PDHS has a dedicated group of staff and administrators that ensure that students are provided with learning and resources necessary for post-secondary success. Students are provided with a wide range of educational opportunities from athletics to the arts to trades-based skills. PDHS prides itself on having a welcoming environment where all learners feel comfortable to reach their potential.  It is our collective mission to deliver an education that will prepare students for the 21st century

Principal's Message

At Paris District High School, our team endeavours to meet the needs of all our learners and provide a challenging and dynamic learning environment that allows our students to be the leaders of tomorrow. With that as our focus, the programs at Paris District High School deliver the opportunities and skills that will help our students find success in the 21st century.

Our course options include our Specialist High Skills Major programs which provide a focus on Construction and Information and Communication Technology. In addition to those programs, PDHS offers a comprehensive technological skills program delivering courses in 8 different disciplines. This year we have added Hospitality and are excited to be starting a Cosmetology program that will begin later this school year.

These specialized programs are a part of the larger set of options at PDHS. From the English Department to Math to Science into Physical Education and the Arts and beyond, our students are given the chance to become well rounded learners through a variety of learning experiences. Learning inside the classroom is complimented by extracurricular activities that include sports, such as hockey, football and volleyball, school trips (we’re travelling to Japan this year), band and our popular Magic the Gathering and Drama Clubs.

If extra assistance is needed, help can be found through the Guidance department, Student Success, and with our After School Homework Help program. Our team in the Learning Commons provides an inclusive and welcoming space where students are supported in multiple ways.

Here at Paris District High School, we believe every student can succeed. The team here at the school are a welcoming and supportive group of teaching professionals. If you have any questions about our school or programming, please feel free to contact the main office at any time to speak with me or the administration team.

Go Panthers!
