Cast of Murder Birds
Delhi District Secondary School’s drama club is bringing a thrilling new play to the stage this spring—and it’s written entirely by the club themselves.
Titled Murder Birds, the production marks the club’s first full-length play, and their first time performing an original script. Drama teacher and club supervisor Jenna Thompson said the idea to write their own story came from a desire to reduce licensing costs. The savings were then used to enhance props, costumes, and staging.
