A Norfolk County community turned out Friday to celebrate a community project: Boston Public School staff, parents, school board members, a foundation and local residents cheered as a new playground officially opened.
The $100,000 project that replaced dated equipment with a new and more spacious playground, was a true collaborative effort by multiple partners, said principal Cynthia Gozzard.
“Everyone worked together to make sure it was finished,” Gozzard said, noting it became especially important when about 40 students were moved from Waterford to Boston this year.
