Our School Council is comprised of a hard working group of parents, staff members, and a community representative. We meet typically 4-5 times a year. This year we meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm. Watch for meeting dates in the school newsletter or call the school at (519) 443-8942. Everyone is welcome!
This year we have two parents who are sharing the responsibility of Chairperson; Sarah Giles and Jen Welsh. You are welcome to contact them at firstname.lastname@example.org
Our Student Leadership Council is composed of a dedicated group of Intermediate students eager to be involved in all aspects of our school community. The committee will be responsible for coordinating various aspects of school spirit and special events throughout the school year.
The Coucil has already planned out a variety of Spirit Days and Special Events for the school year. Hallowe'en Dances, Colour House Challenges and Remembrance Day responsibilities were their first events of the year.
The Caring Cupboard Food Drive was a huge success along with Candycane Candygram sales for the Holiday season. SNOWY Winter Bingo and Valentine's events to raise money for Cancer Research have been the focus for January and February along with the monthly Colour House Challenges. Pink Shirt Day to promote Bullying Awareness and supporting the Lions' Club Skate-a-thon will round out the month.
