Holding Boundary for South West Brantford
The Board of Trustees approved a holding boundary in the area effective September 5, 2017 to accommodate new and pending residential development. All homes within Empire Phases 6A, 6B, 7 and 8 and the pending Losani Block make up the Holding Boundary.
Students residing in the Holding Boundary will attend Ryerson Heights Elementary School until a new school is built. Once the new school is operational, all students residing in the Holding Boundary and attending Ryerson Heights Elementary School will move to the new school. The proposed location for the new school is at the Southwest Brant Sport Complex on the north side of Shellard Lane. The current proposal is to have a joint use site with the City of Brantford.
