The format this year will be very similar to years past:

MIDDLE BLOCK: Grade 7 and 8 students will run activity stations for students in K-5. (Grade 6 students will be group leaders.)

LAST BLOCK: Students in K-8 will participate in a TF run in the back field.

Parent council will provide a healthy snack to all students near the end of the run. There will be a snack table run by the team and students in RM 21.

*Rain date: Friday, September 28th

Look for the Terry Fox pledge sheets & newsletters coming home soon (the week of the 10th) and mark your calendars with the date!

Talk with your child(ren) about who they might run for so they can write something on their stickers on the event day. Terry Fox is a great story of courage and determination - check out terryfox.org for information!

*If you are interested in donating a "prize" to our school for meeting our goal, or to students who fundraise the most please let me know. These tend to generate a lot of motivation and spirit around the event and help our students raise money for this excellent cause.

Here are a list of the prizes we have so far:

> the class that raises the most money will get an ice cream sundae party from Ms. Cooke

> the student that raises the most money gets to be the vice principal for the day with Mr. Finochio and gets their lunch purchased.

> the student that raises the second most money will get to pie in the face Ms. Newell

> if the school raises more than $500, Mrs. Houwer will kiss a chicken

> if the school raises more than $1000, Mrs. Ricker will kiss a goat

> if the school beats last year's fundraising (more than $1500), we will tape Mr. Hill to the gym wall

So ... go fill up those pledge forms!!
