Intermediate: (Mrs. Cavers) Congrats to the Intermediate Soccer Team for winning the "C" division!


Cross Country - Our Grade 6 team took home the HEAA banner for 1st place and the Grade 5 team took 2nd place overall on October 17th. Our Maverick's also brought back 4 medals, placing top 3: Caitlyn T (2nd), Lola R (3rd), Olivia A (3rd) and Ethan K (1st)! Ethan K, Olivia A & Caitlyn T advanced to Cage and competed October 24th - Ethan K again took home 1st, Caitlyn T was 7th and Olivia was 13th in all of GEDSB - wow!!

Orienteering - we had a number of top placers! JLM took home Bronze in Intermediate Girls, Intermediate Boys and Junior Girls.


Boys Volleyball: (Mr. Shuttleworth) - Tournament is Thursday, November 29 @ CSS - the boys had a great day, up against some tough teams. They advanced to the "B" finals but lost to Oneida. Well done, boys!

Girls Volleyball: (Mrs. Cowley) - Tournament is Friday, December 7 @ DSS - Our girls won the 1st 2 games of the tournament but lost the 2nd two, but had a great day together!

Junior Volleyball: (Mrs. Furtney/Mrs. Cavers) - Tournament was Friday, December 14. The team fought hard and had a great day, losing in the semi-finals.


Boys Basketball: (Mr. Shuttleworth) - Tournment is Wednesday, February 27th @ DSS. The boys went undefeated all day to win the 'C' division!

Girls Basketball: (Mr. Hill) - practices are after school on Mondays, 3:10-4:10 as well as some lunch/recess times. Tournment was Thursday, February 28th @ DSS. The girls beat Jarvis and made it to the A pool but lost in the semi-finals. Well done, ladies!

Junior Basketball: (Mr. Hill) - Tournment was Wednesday, February 20th @ DSS. Ms. Morgan took the team for their tournament. The team played 2 games, losing both, but playing quite well for their first time playing together.

Wrestling: (Ms. Morgan) - practices continue. Listen to the announcement or check the calendar outside Rm. 9 for the schedule. We have 25 wrestlers that are busy preparing for the meet in May.

Badminton: (Mrs. Jenkins) - students are busy practicing at breaks for the upcoming tournament.
