School Council

School Council is a great opportunity for you to become informed and involved in our school. Our School Council usually meets on the second Tuesday of the month from 8:00-9:00pm.

School Council members are informed about school and board initiatives and provide parent feedback to guide decisions that directly affect our students.

Our School Council Chair is Mrs. Sarah McLaughlin.

Please consider becoming a part of this important parent and community group.

Volunteers

Volunteers play a vital role in our school community, and help make our school a vibrant and exciting place to learn and grow. Our volunteers take on a wide variety of roles, such as:

  • assisting with the Snack Program
  • volunteering with a class
  • reading with students
  • assisting with trip supervision
  • working in the library
  • fundraising support
  • participating on the School Council

We always need more volunteers. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact the school. All volunteers in Ontario schools are required to have a vulnerable sector police check completed every three years. Please contact the school for the necessary forms. It takes a while to process these checks, so please try to complete the forms as soon as possible. Thank you!
