summer school 2019 - GRAND ERIE LEARNING ALTERNATIVES

Summer School offered by the Grand Erie District School Board provides students with various opportunities to earn full and half credits, change to different streams, improve marks or follow a passion. Courses are offered both in-class and online. Experiential learning is also available through Co-Op. Please refer to the Course Selection Sheet for 2019 offerings.

Summer School will run from Tuesday, July 2nd to Friday, July 26th, 2019. The first day will begin at 10:00 a.m. and the last day will be dismiss at 12:00 noon. All other days will be from 8:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.

Credit Recovery courses begin Thursday, July 4th and end Monday, July 15th (8 days).

Literacy & Numeracy course for grades 6&7 students is from July 3-12 (Semester 1), and July 16 - 25 (Semester 2). Students may attend both semesters.

If you attend a school outside Grand Erie DSB and would like to take an online course, it is important that you be registered in the eLearning Consortium by your current school or the school that you will be attending in September, 2019.

Secondary Dual Credit courses: Grand Erie District and Brant-Haldimand-Norfolk Catholic District SB students are eligible to register for dual credits. Preference will be given to students 17 years or older who are close to graduation. Consideration will be given to students younger than 17 years old and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
