Vice Principal's Message

Welcome back to a new school year. We have lots of exciting plans for teaching and learning this year.

All Echo Place families are invited to our 2nd Annual Meet the Teacher BBQ on Wed. Sept. 27th, 2017 from 4:30-6:30pm. We will be barbequing hot dogs and veggie dogs, and providing ice cream sandwiches and popsicles to all who attend. This is a great opportunity to meet your child’s new classroom teacher, view the classroom, and connect with the other families in our Echo Place School community.

We are excited to be implementing the Strong Start to Reading program again this year. In order to meet the needs of our students who require extra support to develop their reading skills, we need volunteers. If you are interested in spending an hour or two a week to help a primary student to read, please contact the school for more information.

We are also looking forward to implementing our School Cash Online program this year. All purchases of food, milk, field trips, and products can be purchased online this year. This will eliminate the risk of cash getting lost or stolen at school. Please see the information flyer sent home with your child this week, and register for this convenient program.

Please note, Echo Place School is a NUT-FREE school. We have students with life threatening allergies to peanuts, and require all lunches and snacks brought to school to be free of nuts. Thank you for your kind consideration of this important policy.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school at 519-753-2931.

Ms. Innes
