DECA is an extra curricular opportunity for students to develop skills that will help them navigate the world of business. These skills include entrepreneurial, financial, and marketing skills. Students will further develop their confidence, business vocabulary and team work skills. BCI's DECA Chapter participated in the Provincial DECA Competition in Toronto from February 7 to 9, 2019. Three of our members: Jackson Adams, Gurnoor Minhas and Tavia Gairns were awarded recognition for their success in the individual events. Jackson and Gurnoor were called to the stage for their outstanding case study presentations and Tavia Gairns was recognized for her achievement in an exam.
