There is a School Council in every Grand Erie school. This representative group of parents allows the community to be involved in the discussion of education issues and helps the school identify and respond to the educational needs of the community.
School Councils provide advice on developing and implementing of policies for many important matters, including:

Chairs of School Councils, Home and School Associations, Parent-Teacher Associations, and members of these parent organizations are invited to attend.

School Council Emails: Each School Council is offered their own email address through the Board's Outlook email system. The School Council Chair may prefer to use his or her own email account. School Council Chairs can contact their school secretary to set up the account with the Board's IT department.
